Dear Friends of Willow Gray,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my lifelong friend, Willow Gray, a kind and generous artist whose work continues to inspire so many of us. Typically very independent and always the first to offer help, Willow now finds herself in need of our collective support.

As some of you may know, Willow has faced significant personal and financial challenges in recent years, including caring for her late husband during his long illness with cancer. As his sole caregiver, she was unable to work consistently; this, combined with medical bills, his passing, a lack of life insurance, and the depletion of her savings, ultimately led to the loss of her home of 20+ years. Over the last several years, Willow has been working to rebuild her life from the ground up.

Despite these hardships, Willow remains strong, resilient and determined. She is actively pursuing employment and has exhausted all other available resources.

The goal of this fundraiser is $12,000 to help Willow navigate this critical juncture. These funds will cover immediate housing costs, an increased security deposit required to stay in her current space, and a small safety net to ensure she has the stability to focus on securing employment.
