Hi, I never thought I’d be writing something like this, these past few weeks have been a rollercoaster to say the least but the last 48 hours have broken me beyond words. Asking for help is really hard/embarrassing for me but I’m doing this for my baby girl, Willow..
Willow is my one year old bunny and my little best mate. Over the past few days she’s developed sudden neurological symptoms, including loss of balance, head tilt, and eye flicking. She’s currently being treated through PDSA, who suspect a parasite (E. cuniculi), but her symptoms have been severe and frightening. And I’m terrified something more may be going on or being missed.
Rabbits are incredibly delicate and neurological issues need specialist exotic knowledge. I desperately want Willow to be seen by an experienced exotic vet who can properly assess her, explain what’s happening and guide her treatment correctly. I want her to be under the care of a specialised vet I can return to quickly if she worsens.
After the past couple of years of losing almost everything and starting over, Willow has been my constant. It’s just me and her. She’s my whole world and at only one year old, she deserves a real chance to fight.
I’ve set the fundraising goal higher than the cost of a single consultation because neurological cases can be unpredictable and escalate quickly. The funds will go towards:
• Specialist exotic vet consultations
• Diagnostic tests (such as blood work or imaging if needed)
• Ongoing treatment and medication
• Follow up appointments or emergency visits if her condition changes
If the full amount isn’t needed immediately, any remaining funds will be kept aside specifically for Willow’s ongoing care, follow ups or future treatment related to her condition. Ensuring she remains in the safest hands with a clear, supported plan in place.
Any contribution, no matter how small, truly means the world to us. If you’re unable to donate, sharing also helps more than you know. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for caring about my little girl.
With love,
Suzie & Willow x
