Hi everyone Kristy here! So some odd months back I came across two small dogs (in my mothers neighborhood) both neglected to the point you could not believe they had an owner, turns out they did and screw them. Well a few days ago I was on the Lost dogs Facebook page and came across this “dog found” post (looked like him) and in same location. So I contacted Erin who was the sweet person to take one in.  She had said he was missing a foot, which was odd because it wasn’t amputated and he had this weird wound on the bottom. I didn’t really know what to expect. She didn’t have the funds to get him into the vet so I picked him up and took him to the Bakersfield vet hospital and they said his leg needs to be amputated because the bottom keeps dragging. Normally they don’t leave a partial because it drags leaving it to not healing right. If he doesn’t get the amputation he will always have an issue.  I currently got him medicine for the wound on the bottom that keeps dragging , pills and a cone to stop him from licking but he really needs further treatment. I’m also needing him to get treatment for his teeth because they are so bad it smells terrible the build up on his teeth crazy.  I attached a couple of the bills. This doesn’t include everything else he’s needing like teeth cleaning, shots , everything from food to bedding you name it dogs are not cheap and we want him to be happyfor his next home. Thank you everyone! ❤️. He is about 7-8 years old they estimated. I’m goin to make sure this dog gets the help it DESERVES and the home of his dreams.  I hate asking for help but in times like this for reasons like this I don’t have a choice.
