Help Save Our Sweet Lab After Life-Threatening Bee Attack
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate animal lovers,
This past Saturday afternoon, our sweet black Lab suffered a terrifying and life-threatening incident. While outside, he accidentally disturbed multiple beehives and was swarmed by hundreds of bees. His entire body was covered in stings — he was completely yellow with bees. In a desperate effort to save him, we had to throw him into the pond to get them off.
Despite our quick actions, he went into anaphylactic shock and began urinating blood. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where the medical team pulled over 30 bee stingers from his body. His condition was critical, so we transferred him to Texas A&M Animal Hospital, where he’s currently receiving intensive care.
The veterinarians found fluid in his lungs and now he is on oxygen. His pee remains abnormal, and he’s still fighting.
We are devastated, exhausted, and praying constantly for his recovery. This sweet pup means the world to us — he is loving, gentle, and so full of life. Watching him go through this is heartbreaking, and we’re doing everything we can to save him.
Unfortunately, the cost of emergency treatment, ICU care, diagnostics, and ongoing support is quickly adding up. We’ve started this GoFundMe in hopes of easing the financial burden and giving our boy the best possible chance to recover.
Every single donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. Even if you're not able to give, please consider sending thoughts and prayers our way.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this incredibly difficult time.
