Willie Sanders is a dear friend whom I've attended church with for over ten years. Throughout that time, I've witnessed his unwavering positivity and kindness, even in the face of incredible challenges. Willie is a double leg amputee who relies on a wheelchair or scooter for mobility, yet he never lets his circumstances dampen his spirit. He is a God-fearing, loving man with one of the sweetest spirits I've ever encountered, always finding ways to help others stay positive.

A few months ago, Willie was involved in a car crash that was not his fault. While insurance was able to cover a replacement vehicle after his SUV was declared a total loss, it did not cover the lift for his scooter, which was irreparably damaged. This lift is essential for Willie's independence, allowing him to transport his scooter and get around safely. Good wheelchair lifts can cost anywhere from $500-$5000 to replace, and in an ideal situation, Willie would like to sell his replacement vehicle and find something more handicap accessible, then attach a new lift to that vehicle.

If we are able to raise $500-$5000, the funds will go directly toward replacing Willie's wheelchair lift.
