Hello everyone,
Willie Garza is a 19 year old boy who was enjoying life, working hard and making plans to move out to his own apartment this summer. Unfortunately, these goals are no longer a top priority as this past week has forever changed our lives. He had noticed these big lumps on the left side of his neck which had been getting larger in the past two weeks. I made him an appointment with our family doctor which led to a rollercoaster of events. After bloodwork, ultra sounds, cat scans and biopsies, he was diagnosed with HODGKINS LYMPHOMA. We are currently waiting for the results of his PET scan to determine whether he is at stage 2 or stage 4. We are absolutely devastated, as no one wants to see their child go through something like this. After initially being shocked, heartbroken and scared, we are ready to face the challenges with him to beat this.

Since his diagnosis, even with the help of our medical insurance, his medical bills, lost wages, and so forth, are still accumulating. With many more medical bills and other costs to incur, we anticipate more expenses in the upcoming months.

During this journey, he has shown nothing but strength. He has faced this reality with remarkable courage and optimism. On the days he is not recieving treatments, he continues to work to help pay for bills. We are reaching out for any help we can give him. We appreciate any donation amount to help him with his battle against cancer. Mike and I cannot express how grateful we are for all your support and generosity.
