Williams Syndrome is a rare genetic condition affecting around 1 in 10,000 people worldwide. It can involve heart conditions, developmental differences, learning challenges, and lifelong support needs—but it also comes at with incredible strengths like empathy, warmth, and a deep love of connection.
For many Australian families, Williams Syndrome Australia is the place they first find answers, community, and hope after diagnosis.
Recently, important funding changes have placed much-loved programs like Snug Camp at risk. These gatherings are more than just events—they are often the only opportunity families have to connect with others who truly understand their journey.
We’re raising funds to help:
- build awareness of Williams Syndrome across Australia
- support families navigating diagnosis and daily challenges
- protect opportunities for connection like family camps
- strengthen the national Williams Syndrome community
- ensure support continues for future families who will need it
When a condition is rare, awareness matters even more. It helps families feel seen, improves understanding in schools and healthcare, and builds a stronger support network for children and adults living with Williams syndrome.
Every donation—big or small—helps make sure families are not walking this journey alone.
Thank you for helping us support the Williams syndrome community.
