Hello, my name is Olivia Yancey and I am raising money for my brother, William's, study abroad trip to South Africa this summer. William has returned to his studies in higher education with tenacity and vigor. He has shown great academic success as a 4.0 student on the President's Honor List and a member of the PTK Honor Society. William also participates actively on campus in the UMOJA Learning Community, Student Justice Review Board, Men of Color Program, and is acting treasurer of the Black Student Union.

As his older sister, I can testify to his personal and professional growth since restarting school. As well, as someone who previously went on this same trip, I believe it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will exponentially further his self-development. Especially as a young Black man, being able to journey to Africa and learn about a different, and yet so similar culture, is so very necessary.

As evidence of his talent, he received a partial scholarship from the UMOJA International Student Fellowship Program. However, to fully realize his trip, he needs your help. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
