Help William Recover and Rebuild His Life

Hi, my name is William.

I'll admit this is hard for me.

I don’t like asking for help.

About me, I'm 22 years old and I grew up basically as a foster child. My mother passed when I was 11 and, my father has never really been in my life.

I've worked since I was 15 and have been completely supporting myself since I was 18. I was most recently employed as a union electrician apprentice while also going to school at night.

All of that ended when a horrible accident happened. I was shot in the face at close range with a shot gun. It basically blew my face off.

I'm unable to work because I can't see well enough to drive to get there or, to do my job. My injury caused me to have split/double vision. I have many more surgeries ahead of me and the doctors are hopeful I'll be able to resume working and driving again one day. Until that day comes I'm asking anyone that can, to please donate to help me to pay my rent (I rent a room from a lady I used to work with) I use Uber to get rides to and from the doctor’s appointments and wherever else I may need to go, house hold items like laundry detergent, shampoo ect

Food, and my phone bill.

The union took great care of me for a little while but my short-term disability ran out.

I've applied for state disability but was told that would take a minimum of 6 months to begin and am still waiting on approval.

I know it's tough times out there for everyone but, any little help would be greatly appreciated. I have no one else to turn to or, I wouldn't be asking. Thank you.
