Help William Marshall Bennet Rebuild After Robbery

Donation protected
On July 27, our dear friend and beloved musician William Marshall Bennet was robbed, and among the items taken was a safe containing a substantial amount of money.

William is an extremely gifted pianist, teacher, and piano technician who has touched many lives through his music and kindness. You may have seen him performing with local bands like the Lynne Frederickson Trio, Marissa & the Starter Packs, Serious Jack, The Stardusters, or Pacific Soul Rhythm, or perhaps playing solo piano at The Earle restaurant or Weber’s Hotel. Wherever William plays, he brings heart, warmth, and undeniable talent.

Beyond his performances, William is a cornerstone of the Ann Arbor music community. He’s always been the person others could rely on for a last-minute fill-in, an experimental project, or expert piano repair.

Now he needs our help.

The loss of his savings is devastating, and we’re hoping to come together as friends, fans, and fellow musicians to help William get back on his feet. All funds raised will go directly to replacing what was taken and helping William feel safe and supported as he processes this experience.

If you’re able to contribute, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to William and his community. And if you can’t give, please share this with others who might be able to help.

Let’s show William how much he is appreciated!
