Hello, I am William Fowler Jr, a follower of Christ who choreographs and dances professionally in the Bay Area. I live in Oakland, CA., and I am creating this page to ask for your help. Currently, I live in an apartment that had a s--cide and I had the misfortune of seeing her body. A police officer decided to lift the sheet covering her as I came outside. I had to hold that from the start of my stay, which was the second day and now I am on my 4th month there. I also have felt the disdain from a roommate to the point that I feel like an unwanted guest in my own home. So I am applying for a studio apartment for comfort, and I feel that being on my own would be the blessing I need. To have a space that feels like home has been a dream for a long time and if I can't have that with people, I know something must change. I had my feelings about this but now that the 3rd roommate is leaving, I have until the 1st of January to leave. (UPDATE - I am couch surfing with some friends right now!)

I am fully doing this as a leap of faith like I am with life. I left Oakland Ballet company last year for my faith because of mental abuse and learning that dance had become an idol in my life. Things shifted for me when I put God first and thankfully, He gave me dance back... Now it's a year later and I am feeling the same level of pain in this current apartment, so I know that leaving is the best option for me. I don't want to be homeless, but I do want to be happy. I am talking with a company manager for an apartment, and he has graciously held a room for me and though most things are secure I am unable to get a guarantor or co-signer. Since I don't make a consistent rate as a freelance artist, I can't show that I can afford this place (on paper.) I know everyone doesn't go out on faith, but I do believe that anything is possible with faith as small as a mustard seed. So, if you would like to plant a seed today and pour into my future, I would be so thankful.

All proceeds will be used to prepay for as many months that is allotted and to secure my application.
