Hello everyone.
My name is William (Bill) Rodriguez and I'm battling cancer and the side effects of the multiple chemos I've been given.
Unfortunately, my body has suffered an allergic reaction to several of the chemo drugs, like Bleomycin, which caused severe damage to my nervous system, joints, vision, and skin.
I'm in constant pain and discomfort even with the assistance of my palliative care team.
Under the advice of my oncologist and the tumor board, and because the conditions caused by the chemos and the cancer are permanent, it was the best decision to place me on permanent medical disability.
While I strive to fight on and try to stay positive, I also have to be strong for my family.
Sadly, I am no longer able to earn money and rely on the very small amount that disability pays, which is just not enough. If you have been just temporarily disabled, you know what I mean.
This is why, as embarrassed as I feel for asking for help, I have to do it.
The bills keep coming every month, from normal living expenses to medical bills. All of our savings are gone; we are juggling paying some bills one month and then paying others the next month.
It feels like drowning!
The amount shown is an updated amount as of January 30th, 2026, but growing every month with compounded interest and penalties. I don't know what else to do!!
We just need help paying bills and covering living expenses, mortgage, water & power, fuel, insurance, medical, taxes, penalties, and fees.
Please donate what you can, but also share my story with your church, friends, family, coworkers, anyone and everyone. Please.
It is so hard to put my pride aside and reach out like this, but I ran out of places to turn to.
I really appreciate all of you, even if you just pass this on and can't donate. I know everyone has issues too.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me and my family truly survive cancer.
