Hello. I’m Melissa, Williams wife. William and I are facing an unimaginable double health crisis that has put our family on a path to financial devastation. As well as the unknown of what is ahead of us. We are reaching out to our community for urgent help to keep us afloat during this traumatic time

Just two weeks ago Melissa underwent major knee surgery that already restricted her mobility, her husband, William, was rushed into emergency surgery just 4 days after Melissa’s surgery, resulting in a Transmetatarsal amputation of his left foot and a partial amputation of his right foot.

This has delivered a crushing blow to our lives! William works hard to provide for his family. Sadly he can’t do that now. We are looking at months of intensive rehabilitation.

• Loss of Income: William is now unable to work and will be on a long road to recovery that will take many months.

• Reduced Support: Melissa, who is still recovering from her own surgery, must significantly cut back on her hours working at the hospital to provide care for William and their children.

• Imminent Financial Ruin: With both primary sources of income severely reduced, the family will now be overwhelmed by staggering medical bills, medical equipment & supplies, essential utility payments, and basic household expenses.
