We’re reaching out with hopeful hearts and a deep need for support. My husband, William, has been living with treatment-resistant bipolar depression for years. Despite trying every available option—countless medications, therapy, lifestyle changes, and even alternative treatments—nothing has brought lasting relief.

Recently, his doctor recommended IV ketamine therapy, a treatment that has shown remarkable results for people who haven’t responded to anything else. It offers real hope for helping him find stability, relief from depression, and a chance to truly live again.

Unfortunately, insurance does not cover ketamine treatments, and the out-of-pocket costs are overwhelming—about $5,100, with an initial series of treatments and maintenance infusions afterward. On top of that, my employer recently switched health insurance companies, and our healthcare-related costs have increased by several thousand dollars this year alone. Between higher premiums, copays, and prescription costs, it’s become impossible to afford this treatment on our own.
