Hi everyone, our friend, brother, coworker and local 631 Teamster, Will Pitkin, is in a terrible situation. Will recently suffered a stroke and is in the hospital recovering and is facing the possibility of an extended rehabilitation. I have created this GoFundMe, with input from Glenn Farquharson, in the hopes of alleviating some of the financial hardships he will face while recuperating.
Those of you that know Will know what a genuinely good man he is. Always smiling, always ready and willing to lend a sister or brother Teamster a hand, or guide a rookie. The most accurate description of Will came from Glenn who said......."Will would give you the shirt off his back on a cold day".
We are asking any of you that can donate to donate what you can to our brother. No donation is too small. He will be facing rising medical bills along with all of his normal financial obligations. Any lessening of the financial insecurity he is facing will surely be a boon to his recovery. If you are not able to help finacially, please keep Will in your prayers.
