This weekend, Will and Margarita experienced every family’s worst nightmare.
Just after 7 a.m. on Saturday, they were awakened by banging and yelling at their front door. Their building was engulfed in flames, and the fire was spreading rapidly.

Thankfully, they were able to escape unharmed with only the clothes on their backs and their dog, Mia. Unfortunately, they lost everything else — their home, belongings, baby items, and sense of security to water and smoke damage from the fire, which seems to have started in the apartment unit upstairs.

Margarita is seven months pregnant with their first baby, due in January 2026. She and the baby have both been checked out and are thankfully doing okay — though understandably under a great deal of stress.

To help ease the burden on this young family and allow them to continue preparing for their baby’s arrival, we’ve set up this GoFundMe. Our goal is to help them get back on their feet and rebuild before welcoming Baby Norton in just a few short weeks.

As we all know, preparing for a baby is expensive on its own — but adding the unexpected loss of everything they own makes it truly overwhelming. Anyone who knows Will and Margarita knows how hardworking and dedicated they are, and how much love and care they’ve already poured into preparing for their little one. We don’t want them to lose sight of the joy ahead, even in the face of this tragedy.
