Hello Friends:

Some of you have probably already heard that Will & Linda’s home burned last Tuesday evening, April 30. Linda was at work and Will made it out with the kids, but only just—the fire burned very fast so we are all very glad that everyone is ok and uninjured, but everything inside the house was lost— their beloved cats, Ted & Fluffy, clothes, toys, pictures and family momentos. It’s indescribable to think that every ‘thing' from your life could be gone so quickly--the kids have a gnarly story to tell at school but Will, Linda, and the kids will be recovering from this event for a long time. People have been so kind, offering items to get them back on their feet, but unfortunately they don’t really have a place to put all the stuff people want to give them at the moment.

I am reaching out to see if our community is able to help them out— luckily they have family nearby and have their basic needs met for now. We all know what dealing with insurance companies is like and they’re in for a long process while dealing with the fallout—emotional and otherwise— while still trying to stay strong and happy for the kiddos.
