Help Will Hernandez Get Life-Changing Treatment

My brother Will Hernandez was diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa when he was 14 years old. Ever since then, he has had to manage the chronic immune deficiency almost daily. As he gets older, it has only gotten worse. If you know or have met Will, there’s a good chance you don’t know much about his condition or the pain it constantly causes. His case is what the medical professionals call “severe,” but most would never know. Always the one to get the party started and keep it going, his larger-than-life personality has entertained and brought joy to many people through the years. The truth is, he has had to manage pain, open wounds, and discomfort every day for years now. It has gotten to the point where daily life is a struggle, but most of us would never know because he doesn’t burden anyone with his condition.

It’s time to take action and get him the help he needs to live a better life. To do this, Will is heading to an HS facility in Texas where he will undergo numerous surgeries and several more reconstructive surgeries. This special facility will also be where he recovers, getting the best care possible to reduce the risk of infection or further complications. He will more than likely be at this facility for 8-12 weeks as an inpatient. The facility is the best but also expensive, and he won’t be able to work for a period of time, but it is crucial he gets this care.

This fundraiser is to support his medical bills and costs during this treatment. Our family and Will appreciate the love and support from everyone. The next few months won’t be easy, but I know he will find comfort in the love and support of his friends and family.
