My name is Will, and I’m turning 16 this May, right before summer break. I have a big goal for this summer: I want to become a lifeguard at my local pool. The job requires training and classes that come with a fee, and unfortunately, I don’t have the money to cover these costs. My family has always worked hard in the tips industry, but we’ve never been financially stable enough to handle extra expenses like this on short notice.

I’m asking for help to cover the cost of lifeguard training and to get a bike so I can commute to work. My ultimate dream is to become a Navy SEAL and work as an Aviation Rescue Swimmer, but first, I need to finish high school and gain the skills that will help me save lives in the future. Working as a lifeguard is the first step toward that goal, giving me real experience in aquatic rescue and responsibility.
