Help Will and Meg Pay Rent After Assault

Hi, I'm Will. I'm creating this fundraiser on behalf of myself and my sister, Meg (that's her in the picture - I'm sorry if it's upsetting), with whom I and our elderly mother live.

On Christmas Eve last week, my sister was beaten by her then-boyfriend, resulting in a swollen eye, seven stitches, and a concussion. As a result of not being able to work for three days, she lost almost a week's worth of pay, right at the end of the month when rent is due.

Our landlord has told us that if we're late paying rent one more time, he won't renew our lease, so every month is stressful, but now it's an emergency. Between my sister's loss of work and the usual holiday expenses, we're at least $500 short. If you have the means and can find it in your heart to help us financially, it would save us for this month.
