HELP WILL ABBOTT RECOVER FROM A LIFE THREATENING CRUISE INJURY!!

I come to you asking help from our community, family & friends! Will Abbott is a local Mortgage Lender with a big heart for helping others. Will's world has come to an unexpected halt with an unforeseen incident. To know Will is to love him; his infectious laugh and high energy is something he shares with his family, friends and even strangers.

On Monday May 19, 2025, my good friend and I ventured out on a Carnival Cruise to relax from our busy work lives for a couple of days, not knowing what was to come. Will and I were excited to spend this much needed vacation time enjoying the islands and making memories to last a lifetime.

On Wednesday evening we were at dinner enjoying our meal when a piece of steak would forever change the course of our trip and ultimately become life threatening to my best friend.

Will was in intensive pain and couldn’t swallow, hardly speak without gasping for air, or even drink. He was rushed to the medical ward on the ship and in extreme pain for nearly 36 hours before we could get off the ship. Fortunately, an ambulance was waiting at the Port to take Will to a local hospital but the damage was determined to be too severe and he was immediately life flighted to a larger facility to perform emergency surgery.

Since this incident, Will has been fighting for his life and already undergone 3 surgeries. Will is in a medical induced coma at the moment but we are all very hopeful he is going to make a full recovery, so we praise God for this news!!

Will is an independent MLO and does not have the financial means necessary to undertake a such a burden of this magnitude.

Will's family has rushed to his bedside and spends their days, now weeks, in this hospital to be with him.

We are asking for an abundance of prayers over this sweet friend and family member, as well as any financial assistance you can find it in your heart to donate.
