Hi, my name is Becky Cruz, and I am raising funds to help my father, Wilfredo Machado-Cruz. He is currently facing deportation and urgently needs legal assistance.

My father is a 56 year old father, husband, grandfather who has always worked hard to care for his family.

Recently, he was detained by ICE and is being threatened with deportation to El Salvador. The day my father showed up for his meeting with Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in good faith, as instructed, he was detained. (Monday September 22, 2025) He was detained and transferred to Moshannon Valley Processing Center, Philipsburg, PA more than two hours away. He could be deported with in months possibly weeks.

This is a devastating situation on many levels, and our family needs all the support and assistance we can as we navigate this heartbreaking and complex situation. We as a family are going to be working with a specialized immigration lawyer to fight for my dad's freedom.

We as a family are humbly asking for your help to raise funds that will go towards lawyer fees to fight his deportation. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help us in this difficult time. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing our story with your friends and family, and community.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your support.

I will provide periodic updates here.

THANK YOU.
