Help Wiley Overcome Cancer: Support His Surgery

Hi,

I am Wiley Cyrus’s mum, Lauren. I am seeking to raise money for Wiley’s surgical procedure to remove a Mast Cell Tumor (MCT) Grade 2 that is proven to be malignant. If caught early, this form of cancer has very good survival rates. And yes, we caught it early!

Our Family story:

On June 9th, 2012, Wiley was given to me by a woman I “met” on Facebook. He was less than 10 lbs, all slippery like a puppy. I was not prepared to bring home a puppy, so we stopped at Petco to get him a bed, feeding bowls, food, leash, and collar. Oh, and his first squeaky toy. He was so playful and curious with never-ending energy. But he also had this permanent pensive look that desperately begged to never be abandoned again.

The next 12 years, Wiley has earned the title Ride-or-Die, supporting all my hare-brained ideas, like moving cross country 3 times; climbing the Garden of the Gods, kayaking in the Pine Barrens, having a doggy play date in Phoenix, sneaking me into public places that dogs don’t belong. I almost bought Wiley a house LOL.

Your generosity will give Wiley more cuddle time with me, opportunities to hump with his buddies at the park, and annoy his cat-sister, Lulu, by ignoring her. Indifference is Wiley’s chosen weapon.
