Help Wildfire-Rescued Rabbits in Greece Get Urgent Vet Care
Donation protected
In August, we spent 4 days on the front lines in Patras with our van, rescuing animals affected by the devastating wildfires. During that time, we were able to save 15 hens, 2 roosters, 6 dogs, and 12 rabbits.
At our shelter, DoggyBagCrew, we have taken in 7 rabbits and 2 dogs. The rabbits are temporarily housed in crates because we don’t yet have a permanent space for them. They urgently need sterilization to prevent breeding, as well as health check-ups and parasite treatments.
We have started building a safe space for the rabbits and have ordered a structure for an outdoor playground so they can live, play, and recover in comfort and safety. Our plan is also to transport all the rabbits to a rabbit specialist in Athens for sterilization, medical care, and proper treatment. Each rabbit will cost €100, and we also need to cover tolls and gas for transportation.
Every donation, big or small, will help us give these animals a safe, healthy life and a second chance after surviving the wildfires.
Your support can make this possible!!
