On October 14, tragedy struck when our beloved team member Wilbert Ferdinand lost his home in a devastating fire. Thankfully, Wilbert and his family are safe, but the fire destroyed nearly all of their belongings, leaving him to start from scratch.
Wilbert has been part of the Juniper Village at Chatham family for 13 years. He is known for his kindness, dedication, and steady presence in the dining room, always serving residents with patience and heart. His warmth and sense of humor lift everyone around him, and now, it’s our turn to lift him up.
We are asking our friends to rally around Wilbert as he rebuilds his life. Every donation — no matter the size — will go directly toward helping Wilbert replace essential items like clothing, furniture, and household necessities, as well as cover temporary living expenses.
Wilbert has given so much of himself to our community. Let’s show him the same love and support in return.
Thank you for helping Wilbert get back on his feet and reminding him that he’s not alone.
