Everyone, this is Chuck and Frances Dacey. We are starting this fundraiser to assist our son-in-law Edward Dubois with medical bills not covered by insurance for his wife, our daughter Michelle Dacey, who was 8 months pregnant for their second child Michael during their hospitalization.

The last year and a half have been most trying for everyone. In June this year, due to physical and mental health complications and the struggles during the pandemic to obtain timely and in-person medical appointments it resulted in a tragedy for our family. Sometimes a tele-med call does not explain or begin to show everything doctors need to know in order to provide the correct and proper treatments needed. Early on the morning of June 17th, Michelle was rushed to the hospital. Michael was delivered by emergency C-section while both on life support. After a very few days neither had brain function at which point, care ceased. We are all beyond saddened.

This fund raiser will hopefully relieve some of the additional stresses that Eddie faces as a now single parent along with the care of his/our 4 yr old (grand)son Charlie while he works along with grieving the loss of his best friend, high school sweetheart, his wife/our daughter, Michelle and the loss of his unborn son Michael. This has been a monumental loss compounded with daily life and responsibilities.
