Help Widowed Mother of Martyr Capt Sanjay Chauhan
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Vineet Gupta. I am a friend of the late Captain Sanjay Chauhan of Solan, Himachal Pradesh. We grew up and studied together. Sanjay laid down his life for the country fighting terrorists. A widowed mother and the family of martyr Sanjay Chauhan is facing severe financial hardship. The house she is living in was to be put up for auction on September 30th, 2021. With help of friends and the community, a two-month extension has been obtained with great difficulty. Out of a total of CAD 167,000; we still need around CAD 75,000 to save the house from the auction.

Nirmal Chauhan, Sanjay Chauhan's Mother
The brother of Sanjay that is Ajay Chauhan had taken a loan for the purpose of building and running a restaurant in a prime location in Solan and mortgaged the family's principal residence for financing the project. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the project could never take off. The majority clientele of the business consisted of students. Since all educational institutions in Solan are closed due to the onset of the pandemic, the business has suffered irreversible damage, resulting in the family facing bankruptcy.
Ajay Chauhan - the elder brother of Sanjay recently had a heart attack and his family comprising of a son and daughter are also facing an extremely difficult time in their lives. His wife passed away a few years ago.
It is extremely painful to see the entire family's situation.

We are making an effort to raise CAD 10,000 through this platform as partial support for this cause. Requesting all noble souls to contribute generously to save the family from being homeless.
It is destiny's irony that only two years ago a memoir statue of Martyr Captain Sanjay was erected in a park in Solan and his mother honored by the government, but today she is on the brink of becoming homeless. It is painful to put oneself in her shoes and feel what she is going through. It is difficult to imagine what would be going on in her mind. She is 78 years old. Sanjay Chauhan put his life forward to protect the country, the brave and courageous soul's family should not be facing such hardships.
