Our parish is asking for your help raising money to support a widow of five.

Our dear friend and former parishioner, Natalia lost her husband in December. Sasha died of a pulmonary embolism, caused by a clot dislodged from his leg. Natalia has five girls, the oldest one will turn 11 in August, and the youngest one is a year and a half.
Natalia’s mother went on an early retirement, and moved in with them, in order to be able to help Natalia with raising the children. They currently all live in a two-bedroom apartment, which Natalia is renting temporarily.  Natalia and her mom pulled together all their assets (including borrowing money from friends), and are still $6000 short of being able to buy a small flat. We hope to collect this sum by the 25th of June. 
For one person it is a big sum. But, if we collectively join in the fundraising, we will be able to help this family in a very substantial way.
