I made this for my mom Mindy because she is not one to ask for help even when she desperately needs it. Mindy is only 48 years old and a mother of 4. She has two young twin girls (12) who already lost their father. She has been a single mother since she was 17 and then found the love of her life later in life, had twins then he crushingly passed when they were 3 years old. She is young and has always been independent and asks nothing of nobody but is always there to lend a hand when someone is in need. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer this past September. This has been devastating news to our family. She already was not able to work because of Covid-19, she got the terrifying news shortly after. It has been a very hard time financially being a single mother of two young girls and now struggling with this illness and bills on top of it. It would mean everything to have help get her the support she needs. I know it would help keep her in a better state of mind, ease the stress during this time and have access to a treatment that could change everything. We know it is a hard time for everyone financially but anything helps. It would so be greatly appreciated and can help save her life. She deserves to beat this, things haven't always been easy for her but she sees a better future and my young sisters need her. We are trying to do anything we can to beat this, with your help it may be possible.
Mindy was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in September. It has quickly spread to her liver. The doctors gave her possibly four months to live but she's still here fighting it. She has been receiving chemo once a week for the past five weeks and there is some improvement on her liver. She needs help with chemotherapy, immunotherapy bills and other financial struggles for her and her young girls. There is also a recommendation of a more expensive treatment that could benefit her greatly. Thank you.
