Widowed Mother Battling Cancer

Martha (Devers) Luna, my friend and classmate from high school days on, would be very grateful and blessed by loving support amidst her afflictions. A former missionary to Peru, she and her husband, Magdaleno Luna, strove to honor God by building a special family through the adoption of children--some with multiple special needs. The family filled their home with the sound of bells, piano, and song. Martha worked hard to homeschool all four children; and she faithfully nursed her husband through his long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.  In November of 2017 he passed away, leaving Martha with three children still at home: Joshua 16, Evonne 13, and Rachel 9. All the while, Martha had been quietly enduring her own growing pain. Her spine has been slowly disintegrating, and this month she has been diagnosed with metastatic cancer. With very limited income, Martha is looking to God and friends for the future of her beloved children.
