We are raising $1,500 to cover roughly 20 stray cats living in our Wichita, KS neighborhood. These cats are currently breeding continuously—producing hungry, homeless kittens and contributing to an unmanageable colony. Your gift will fund a humane Trap‑Neuter‑Return (TNR) project: no more litters, no more suffering. A gift of $70 covers the cost to spay/neuter one cat, but any amount helps. If we exceed our goal, any additional funds will be donated to Friends of Felines and Wichita Animal Action League. Receipts of TNR will continually be posted.

Doug's story:

Doug was born mid-July. Four kittens made up the original litter, but after less than 3 weeks, two kittens had died and Doug was incredibly malnourished. Since mom wasn't producing enough milk and nutrients to feed all of her babies, Doug was taken from the litter to be bottle fed, leaving one single healthy kitten with mom. Cats can have 4 litters a year with an average of 4-6 kittens per litter. Mom cats can go into heat again as soon as two weeks following giving birth. If cats like Doug's mom are spayed early, countless kitten deaths are prevented.
