Help Wichita Chaplain Pastor "Jesse" Get Back on the Road

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but a hopeful spirit to ask for your support for my brother, Josue—a devoted minister and police chaplain in Wichita, Kansas.

For the past 35 years, Josue has poured his life into serving others, offering comfort, guidance, and hope to people during their most difficult moments. Whether standing beside grieving families, mentoring youth, feeding the hungry, or supporting our police officers through crisis and trauma, Josue has always shown up when he’s needed.

Some of you may know him as Pastor Jesse—a name many in the community affectionately call him. No matter what name you know him by, you know his heart for people and his commitment to serving with compassion and grace.

This past week, while returning home to Kansas after officiating a funeral out of state, Josue was involved in a serious car accident. By the grace of God, he walked away without major injuries—but his vehicle, which he depends on daily for ministry and outreach, was completely totaled.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t have the resources to replace it. Like many who dedicate their lives to service, Josue has always given far more than he’s received. He’s never asked for much, just the ability to continue doing what he was called to do: caring for others.

Now, he needs our help.

We’re raising funds to help Josue purchase a reliable vehicle so he can continue doing the work he’s devoted his life to, visiting the sick, officiating weddings and funerals, comforting families, and responding to crisis situations as a chaplain.
