Help Whitney Heal After Accident UPDATED !!!!!!!!!

My name is Randy Newton and as some of you may know, back on September 23, 2025, I received the scariest phone call I have ever gotten. It was from the hospital informing me that my fiancé Whitney Wise had been in a bad accident and was flown out to Dallas. She was in the emergency room with a team currently working on her. Instantly, I knew it was bad because she didn’t call me.

The other driver was at fault, has insurance, and from people on the scene that worked the accident, I was informed the other driver was highly upset he had injured Whitney so badly. He was denying first aid and was trying to get to Whitney to help her and apologize to her.

The accident itself was a head-on collision. The other driver failed to yield the right of way and proceeded to make a left-hand turn. He informed officers on the scene that he didn’t see her (going around a bend in the road and depending on what you drive, your A-pillar can become a blind spot). So, he believed he was clear to turn, and the second he crossed the center line, Whitney became visible, and it was too late.

Whitney was trapped in the car and bleeding heavily with extreme pain in her leg that was still on the brake and going into shock. She ended up breaking (compound fractures splitting her leg open from practically the ankle to knee) both bones in her right leg with other multiple lacerations. She had 3 units of blood given to her upon arrival to the emergency and another 2-3 during surgery to repair her leg, which required hardware to do so.

With the other driver having insurance and cooperating, all your normal losses like medical, property, missed work, etc., will all eventually be sorted out in the long run. It’s the long run that has me creating this GoFundMe. We’re asking for help during this long road to recovery. She has made great progress already but has a long way to go with an unknown end currently, and we’re just trying to stay afloat. Of course, I’d love the luxury to live at the hospital and eventually in-patient rehab (currently waiting to be transferred to rehab), but that’s too much to ask for and not feel guilty having to leave her to go work, even though she’s had plenty of visitors and is in excellent hands.

She’s currently working on creating an Amazon wish list for both needs and small wants that will make the days go by faster for those that would rather not help with money in fear of it being misused, such as various walking aids, books (big bookworm), a fan because some of the pain meds cause her to get really hot, flustered, and irritable to the point of tears, and the room can only get so cold (I shiver at night).

Also, we understand some would rather avoid fees here, so donations will go that much further. I’ll update this post as soon as I can with optional donation methods.

Make sure when you depart loved ones, you let them know you love them. I’m glad Whitney instilled that into me early on because if that phone call would have been worse, I’m not sure how I would be handling things.

Thank you
