I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share the story of someone incredibly brave and special, my darling daughter Whitney who is courageously battling Acute Myeloid Leukaemia an aggressive blood cancer. It is a time of immense physical and emotional strain as she fights not only the disease but also the effects of the treatment.
Whitney has been in Kings College hospital since being diagnosed, undergoing intensive chemotherapy and will remain there a long term as she continues to have intense treatment in preparation for a bone marrow transplant once a doner has been found.
Over the past month Whitney has gone through so much pain, tears and stress, while through all of this, she continues to show bravery, as she battles through chemo, bone marrow biopsies, daily blood transfusions and infections.
As most of you know I live in Cornwall, but I have relocated to London during this difficult time. I would like to raise these funds to ease the stress for Whitney and to enable her to have her family with her whilst going through treatment.
Throughout this challenging journey we will be beside Whitney, supporting and providing her with the love and encouragement that she needs, and any donations will allow Whitney to focus on her recovery with the support of her family beside her.
A cancer diagnosis is heart-breaking and watching my daughter go through this hurts beyond a million words. Thank you so much for everyone who has supported already, I am truly grateful. Every bit is greatly received.
