Help Whitney Die with Dignity, not Debt
Donation protected
The name of this fundraiser has changed, but the story hasn't: My friend Whitney is a queer woman, a BIPOC artist, a witchy healer, and a U.S. Army and Navy veteran. She is also a terminal cancer patient on a fixed income living in the Portland Metro area to be near the world-class medical care that keeps her living her best life right up until the end.
Unfortunately this world-class care is lacking in the area of mental health: something that is vitally important for everyone, but especially someone living with terminal illness. Whitney has not had access to a therapist for the past six months. Her spouse and full-time caretaker Roxy is also running without mental health care. They have exhausted what the system has to offer and don't have the funds to pay out of pocket. These beautiful humans need our help.
Funds raised here will go directly to Roxy and Whitney to enable them to seek therapy, pay for medications and other medical costs not covered by their insurance - including Death With Dignity medication that costs $4,000 - and whatever else they need to worry less about dying and more about living each day to the fullest.

Footnote: Roxy is trans nonbinary and has changed their name. Payment methods and profiles may feature their birth name. Please be respectful.
