Having woken up to the awful news that 12 people have been evacuated from their boats just before Christmas after a collapsed canal incident in Shropshire. I’d like to raise funds to support liveaboard boaters during this difficult time. It is likely these boats will now be inaccessible for months if not years so people do not have access to any of their personal possessions. In the spirit of Xmas please consider supporting the community with what you can. I am hoping to be able to withdraw funds to support everyone on Xmas day. It’s not going to change what has happened but it will help to make sure people can get clothes, food, and repurchase Christmas presents or anything that is lost.
