Whisper is a three-year-old deaf Maine Coon who means the world to my Bestie Terri and Lorra. After being missing for nearly two weeks, Whisper was found with serious injuries to both of her back legs. She was terrified and now clings to Terri, unable to bear being apart. The veterinary team determined that Whisper needs patella surgery on both rear legs, and while her recovery will be long, the outlook is positive. Both surgeries will be done at once to give Whisper the best chance at regaining her mobility and returning to her playful self.

Terri has always been a source of strength and positivity, even while battling cancer and enduring rounds of chemo and immunotherapy. She and Lorra have faced countless challenges, and their love for each other and for their animals has helped them through some of the toughest times. The financial strain of ongoing cancer treatments, especially those that haven’t worked, has made it difficult to cover unexpected expenses like Whisper’s surgery. Supporting this fundraiser will help relieve some of the burden and allow Terri and Lorra to focus on their own healing while making sure Whisper gets the care she needs.
