Help Whisper Heal: Support Her Recovery

Donation protected
UPDATE ! !
This first photo is how our veterinarian found her foot when he took the bandages off . The ER hospital didn’t even try to suture or close any wounds. All they did was slab some honey on the wounds and wrap it up. The second picture is what Dr. Ahmad did he closed the open wounds , cleaned it thoroughly and did a Provia treatment ( light therapy ) to help tissue growth . We are looking at just a couple more light treatments and only one more time to be sedated . This man has been nothing but amazing and God sent .
$1400 was spent at the ER for them to do nothing . Another $1400 spent at our vet for him to repair what the ER didn’t do. We are truly grateful for our village ! We didn’t know how we were going to do it but we did please continue sharing , every penny counts and we still have a few more visits to go . We are definitely on the right road to recovery though
Whisper is doing very well

…..
As many of you know, Whisper is our pride and joy! She is 3 years old, deaf, and the most perfect dog! She came to us a few years ago upon chance and we have been so overjoyed with her presence, we couldn’t imagine life without her.

Unfortunately, on 6/19, Whisper was hit by a car. It caught her feet under the tires and rolled her a few times. She is alive but she has endured some serious injuries exposing bone. There isn’t enough good tissue on the foot to close these wounds, so she currently has open wounds on her feet. These bandages will need to be changed every 24/48 hours for the next 2 weeks until we see some tissue growth. If this wound treatment can’t be done properly then we are looking at amputating the right foot.

Our hearts are broken. It could have very much been worse, but it’s still pretty bad. We paid a pretty hefty price on the first initial visit which left us with nothing right now. Wound treatments could be a couple hundred each visit because she needs to be sedated the first couple times. We are asking if you could spare anything to help us get our girl back on both feet! She’s the sweetest baby and we just want her to be okay. Anything helps

UPDATE ***
no bones are broken! Thank you Jesus. But the lacerations and road rash are severe and there is still exposed bone on the right foot . Wound treatments are being set up today , we’re still looking at a long road of recovery and vet visits . Thank you for sharing and donating . We are eternally grateful to you all
