Whiskey, my mom’s amazing dog, has always been a joyful and loving presence in our family. She’s only four years old, but recently, her life has changed dramatically. This past summer, Whiskey was diagnosed with arthritis in both of her knees. At first, the pain would come and go, but it quickly became much worse. Even with medication to help ease her discomfort, she now struggles to put any weight on her hind legs, and it’s heartbreaking to see her in so much pain.

After several visits to the vet, we learned that Whiskey’s arthritis has progressed to the point where a double knee replacement is the best option to give her a chance at a pain-free life. The surgery is a significant expense, and our family is doing everything we can to make it possible. Whiskey means the world to my mom—she’s truly her 'soul dog'—and we want nothing more than to see her happy and healthy again.
