Help while I recuperate from mono
Donation protected
I teach woodturning at art centers and craft schools across Connecticut. I teach kids how to make their own baseball bats and people of all ages how to make a bowl or a platter from solid wood and plywood.
Just as I was preparing to teach woodturning classes for 2022, overwhelming fatigue landed me in the hospital for a week. I have mononucleosis, and it can take up to two months to recover from that virus.
I had to cancel or postpone classes through next February. But meanwhile, the furnace still needs oil, the car needs servicing, the mortgage still comes due, and the credit-card bills continue.
Your donation will do a great deal to help me cover the family expenses until I regain my health and can once again take up teaching. I thank you. My family thanks you. And my students thank you, too. Your help is greatly appreciated.
