Hello, my name is Wes. I’m 18 years old, living in Tennessee, and I just graduated high school.

As a trans teen in the middle of the Bible Belt, my extremely Christian conservative family does not hold the same beliefs I do; I’ve spent years dealing with arguments, neglect, and oppression to everything I am. This year, I’ve decided enough is enough, but I’m on a time crunch to move out by early August.

My goal is to move in with my long-distance friend, work as much as I can, and go to community college so I can build a better future for myself, but I need help. I obviously cannot live with my friend forever, so I’m raising money to pay for my phone bill, hotel, transportation, and grocery expenses for at least 3 months as I work for the rest.
