Hello friends and family. Here I am doing it, facing one of the biggest personal challenges of my life so far, and my part is easy. What I'm doing is admitting defeat and humbly asking for help. That's my challenge, and it's done. I'm asking for your help. I'm sitting here in the waiting room at the Mayo Clinic. I'm here sending up prayers for the poor folks in here who are way worse off than us, while Lisa is undergoing some tests.

Here's the scoop. Lisa's got some physical problems, MS and POTS to name two. Plus on top of that, in my infinite wisdom, I knocked her up. Yay. Our little girl is due in August.

Moving right along, Lisa has used all her PTO already for her many appointments and for NOTHING FUN! I recently got back to work. Nice place, pays alright, but I've not been there long enough to get PTO. Not to mention, I don't know if ya'll are aware, but I seem to be having trouble keeping any dollars I make. I know everybody is feeling the pinch, that's one more reason it sucks for me to be asking now.

Big sigh. I'm convinced that big insurance companies are big evil corporations who pay very little for their customers and love keeping people sick. And since they just can't possibly shell out a few more bucks for some helpful testing, we have to cover it. So piss on the insurance companies. I'll ask for help from real people.

I'm asking for what you can spare monetarily. 5 or 10 bucks. Please. The more anonymous the better. I'm setting the bar for donations low. I promise anything over the goal will be donated to Mayo Clinic and or Alcoholics Anonymous.

I feel like a Gofundme is an, "everybody gets ONE," type thing. I'm punching my card for it now. A couple bucks or even a text or message saying, "Go man, go!" Or, "Go kick rocks." Will be very much appreciated. Honest to God. I can't think of much more to say other than please pretty please. I'm not rich, but if I ever am, anyone who donates, someday I'll make it rain on you.
