Help Weston Access Life-Changing Treatments

Donation protected
Weston will be turning two on December 6th, and his journey so far has been filled with both challenges and hope. Weston was born with multiple brain abnormalities. He has a rare congenital neurodevelopmental brain disorder characterized by abnormal brain formation prior to birth. Structural differences include microcephaly (brain is smaller in size), reduced white matter, abnormal corpus callosum development (structure connecting left and ride hemispheres of brain is underdeveloped), colpocephaly/enlarged posterior ventricles (rare condition where fluid filled areas are abnormally large) and irregular cortical folding with polymicrogyria which presents itself often as seizures in Weston. Weston’s situation is more advanced and complicated because he doesn’t have just one abnormality, but multiple abnormalities that work against him developing, growing and functioning.
Weston has faced obstacles that most children his age never have to encounter. Despite these challenges, his parents, Kaleb and Heather, have shown unwavering devotion and love, always seeking the best for their precious son.

Recently, many different treatments have been suggested for Weston that could help his brain develop and improve his overall health and function. Unfortunately, these therapies—including working with a specialized doctor, following a custom-designed diet, and using an in-home hyperbaric oxygen machine—are not covered by insurance and come with significant costs. In addition to these, there are various other expenses the family is encountering as they strive to give Weston every opportunity to grow and thrive.

Kaleb and Heather are prayerfully considering every option to help Weston reach his fullest potential. Their faith and dedication are an inspiration to everyone who knows them. Through this GoFundMe, we hope to surround them with the love and support of their community, family, and friends. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in Weston's life. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers for this special family.
