Help Westminster Daycare Workers

During this unprecedented time when Westminster DAYCARE is closed, I’ve learned some full-time daycare workers could use some assistance. Under normal circumstances, Westminster Daycare workers are not eligible to collect Unemployment Compensation. As a non-profit, they do not pay this tax.
 
Fortunately, they should be eligible to receive Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA). The last paycheck the workers received was April 15. This was not a full pay; it was an averaged amount across all full-time salary and hourly employees. On May 1, they should learn if they are approved to receive the PUA. However, it is unknown when the first funds will actually be distributed.
 
This is an uncertain and stressful time for every family, please know that I’m just extending this as an opportunity to offer assistance to full-time employees if you are interested!
 
This is a ONE WEEK fundraiser, from now until Wednesday, April 29 as I want to hopefully get funds to workers by Friday, May 1! If you intend to donate, please do it now and share with any other Westminster parents! This is just the DAYCARE side (not the Nursery school side).
