Help Western Mass Fibershed Turn Wool into Wealth
Donation protected
Western Mass Fibershed is addressing the great quantity of waste wool that we generate in making yarn, and also that local sheep farms produce. We will be making wool pellets for use as a soil amendment with this wool. Farms may either bring their wool to us for pelletizing, or we will be buying it from them and making pellets to sell.
We have been fortunate to receive grants to cover the cost of buying the two machines, and have installed and wired them ready to go. However we are in need of start up costs, approximately $9000, to cover expenses until we actually start generating income. These expenses include wiring, labor, utilities, and further fertilizer testing.
We have already received a $1500 donation from a generous supporter. Will you help us reach our $9000 goal?
