Help West Write a New Song

Donation protected
I'm Emily Danler, a parent from the Aveson Independent Study Academy program in Altadena, California. This fundraiser is for my wonderful friend, Noelle Singh, who lost her home in the Eaton wildfires. We've had to twist her arm to get this GoFundMe off the ground, which gives you a small glimpse into the kind of person she is.

Noelle finally agreed because her son, West, who is one of the coolest kids I know, lost his piano in the fire that also took their lovely home. We convinced her that people need a way to help and any money she feels is in surplus can always be donated to others. But they are rebuilding their lives, just like so many of our families right now.

Those of us who know her well know that this gentle person is a force for good in our homeschool community and (to quote another friend) can totally throw down in the kitchen. She feeds us all, appreciates us all in word and deed, builds up our village, and spreads delicious love wherever she goes.

West is a wildly smart kid that makes me smile every time I get to hang out with him and his classmates in our book club. When he's not lost in a book, he's composing music, so let's get him a new piano and do so much more for this very deserving family.
