Hi everyone, it is now one month until our athletes head off to Porec, Croatia to represent Ireland at the ITF Taekwondo World Championships.

With 8 athletes from our club making the national team we are extremely proud of them all and the hard work they’ve put in to get ready for the pinnacle moment of our sport.

After bringing home an impressive 2 gold medals and 3 bronze medals at the recent European Championships, our athletes are working to do even better this time around. 

ITF Taekwondo is a non-funded sport in Ireland which leads to the athletes and their families paying for the expenses of a campaign, training, gear and more. This year it will cost each athlete €1,050 to compete at the World Championships.
