Hello community, my daughter is an employee at H-E-B grocery store in San Antonio, Texas. Wes, a 25+ year employee, works as the loss prevention/Janitor employee at H-E-B Marbach. He is known for his friendly demeanor, always smiling and greeting others, while offering advice and encouragement. Wes has faced significant hardships, including the loss of his wife and a recent house fire that left him homeless. He travels by bus and can be seen sleeping on a bench. Despite these challenges, Wes maintains a positive attitude and comes to work every day with a smile. However, his struggles are evident in his weight loss and fading joy. Wes is beloved for his kindness and encouragement, and my 19-year-old daughter has witnessed him help many people during her time at H-E-B. We are seeking help from the community to support Wes. Any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated in helping Wes secure basic necessities to get an apartment started, and a bed, and sheets. While H-E-B provided initial support, more help is needed to get Wes back on his feet.
