Help Wes and Mary Ann Recover from Flood Damage
Donation protected
- My Son and future Daughter-in-law, Wes Cornett and Mary Ann Roberts had their home in Frankfort, Kentucky flooded this past Sunday after 5 days of torrential rains. The crest of the Kentucky River reached 48.27 feet, the second highest crest in history. Residential areas in Frankfort that have not flooded in 50 years flooded this weekend. The main level of Wes and Mary Ann's house was spared but their unfinished basement had 6 feet of water, claiming their HVAC system, the electrical panel, washer, dryer, hot water heater, chest freezer, power tools, and many personal possessions. Since there had been no flooding in 50 years in this area, they did not have flood insurance. Their first objective is to get their electrical system repaired so they can get the electricity back on. Please consider donating!
