Werner Kunkel has spent 30 years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit. As we continue to fight to overturn his wrongful conviction, he was recently moved from a state prison to a county jail.

At the prison, his communication with friends and family was greatly restricted. At the jail, it’s unlimited, which is amazing. But the catch is that it’s very expensive.

This fundraiser is thus for only one thing: to raise money to allow Werner to communicate with his loved ones as much as he wants, to make up for the 30 years of lost time.
